Its been a little over six months since Jon Collins was first mentioned on the show, and that was in our first ever interview show with his label mates “Swords Of Dis”. Well Six months down the line and here he is talking about the music he loves, has loved and loves to make. Clocking in at over 2 hours this interview has it all. You’ll hear all you can about his music ventures past and present and you’ll even hear him get confused at some of the questions raised by myself as at the time of the Interview I was sick as a dog and on occasion made very little sense. Haha! It was a great interview though and I was proud to finally talk to Jon and promote his music.
Aeurtum has released 2 full lengths as of this date!! The debut “The Fall” can be purchased via bandcamp and so can the new album “The Depths Of Which These Roots Do Bind”, Both essential for your collection of your face of Melodic Death Metal/Doom or even Black Metal. You will find beauty with this tragic display of brutality.

On todays show I had the lucky fortune to Interview Ilia from Uk Doom/Death Titans Indesinence!! Ilia was a great sport and gave a very unique and interesting interview and was a pure pleasure to talk to. We shoot the shit and get to the heart of what Indesinence is all about. Its roots and its branchs and all the bark thats inbetween. Durin’ the interview two epic tracks will be heard…these two tracks being (Dusk Towering Forth) which can be found on the “Noctambulism” album which is was released 2006 on the Goat Of Mendes record label. The other track being (Faded – Further Beyond) which can be found on the latest record Vessels Of Light And Decay which was released in 2012 on Profound Lore Records.
Also on the show we feature the first in a new light on programs featured on this podcast called “Hand of Glory” this is the part of the show where we feature underground acts we feel deserve an honourable mention and that people need to hear the music they make, even if an interview is not on the cards.
The song featured by Dartropia is Reaching The Abyss which in my opinion is one of the unsung highlights of 2014…
Secondly and respectively is birmingham duo now recently turn solo Melodic Death Metallers Aeurtum. Links with this band have been in the works for quite some time now and Jon whom is a founding member of the band is a very productive and hard working individual who strives to get the music and the message out there. Although drummer and co founder Brad has recently parted ways with Aeurtum, his presence is still felt throughout the bands compisions up to this date. With a demo (Within This Enervation) and a full length (The Fall) under thier belts, Aeurtum are heading higher with a new release on the horizon. (THE DEPTHS OF WHICH THESE ROOTS DO BIND) This will hopefully be out for purchase in the near future. I for one am looking forward to rocking out to another great release from these guys and the Insidious Voices Label.
